I have Rock band but only have the lead guitar. Do I need to buy specifically the bass guitar or can I just buy another guitar controller and that will work as a bass?

No u dnt need a different controller they’re all the same, but if ur a bass player u can get a bass controller, they both work the same. The bass controller has a split bar where u strum cuz most bassists strum with two fingers…
all guitars will work as bass or lead guitars
