I have power tab editor, and I’m wondering how to edit NOTES. When I bring up a new blank file, it looks like all I can do is put numbers on the TAB staff. Is there a way to put notes on the note staff? I can see the buttons for half note, whole note and all that, but I can’t figure out how to actually navigate up to the note staff. I click on it and everything, but it won’t let me edit it, it keeps me in the TAB area. Anybody know how to solve this?

I have been playing mainly acoustic blues, folk, and rock music for a few years. I want to get into some electric rhythm and lead jazz guitar but I do not know what kind of guitar I would be looking for. I love the sound of hollow or semi-hollow bodies the most. I know some friends who have a Sheraton but that type of guitar seems suited for an intermediate or advanced jazz player rather than a beginning one. Any advice?

I’m going to college for music (technology) but I have to audition. I’m interested into classical so I’m leaning towards the jazz audition. I play guitar with a flat pic. Is this ok, or is it best to play jazz guitar fingerstyle?

I have a guitar strap, but my guitar doesn’t have an upper peg to attach it to. It has the peg at the bottom though. can somebody please tell me how to attach it using only the bottom peg?

Do you know any jazz sub-genres that its songs have as leading instrument the guitar(electric, jazz or acoustic)? I have listened to a few songs with lead guitar and piano or strings as backing instruments, but it was on the radio and i can’t find any others. So, What is this music genre? What should i look for?

i don’t understand the whole how heavy guitar strings thing is all about. Or at that, anything about guitar strings. Do different guitar strings give different quality sounds? If so, are there any that could kind of help make a dirty, fuzzy, yeah yeah yeahs in Y control sounds? Maybe im thinking of pickups…

The lead singer of whoever, I’ve seen plenty play live. They always play rhythm and then someone next to them plays lead. Could it be reversed and the lead singer play lead guitar. Why or why not?
